And, because we want to help as many people as we can with important things in life - there are additional things being planned out so stay tuned!
If you need "mobile notary" services, contact us or feel free to browse info by clicking here!
Did you know this can apply to anyone? You do not need to be a millionaire or have an expensive house of luxury! I know most of us associate a Trust with "rich people". Set up a Trust to protect your assets.
What if you become incapacitated,? Do you have your 'permission slips' in place? Worse yet, we associate Power of Attorney with the 'golden years, but what if you're 18 or 30 and become incapacitated? Without a POA in place, it may take time for your family to be permitted to speak for you and make medical decisions that you may have never even discussed! And, they have to decide while in emotional turmoil.
Are you the breadwinner of your household? Oh, your spouse, parent or child is the beneficiary on your accounts? That's great, in case of death! But, what if you are simply incapacitated and the mortgage or car payment needs paid?
Do you know your assets will go where you want at the end? Or are you counting on it automatically going to your spouse or child? Know anything about 'Probate; or 'inheritance tax'?
Get your plans & wishes on paper and take the necessary steps or the state will decide who gets what, for you, and who is in charge of distributing. Plus, its likely to involve some legal fees being paid by your loved ones - maybe more than you would like. We assume we know a lot of things... until we learn first hand the hard and sometimes expensive way.

According to Wikipedia: "A notary is a person authorized to perform acts in legal affairs, in particular witnessing signatures on documents." Of course, in PA (and most states), a notary can also administer an oath or affirmation.
A notary in PA is NOT able to create your legal documents nor does the notarization mean that they are "legal and guaranteed" to be accepted by another party. The notarization verifies that the signer showed valid ID to an impartial witness, authorized to perform the notarial act.
The notary's role is to identify the signer and assess the signer's willingness and understanding of what they are signing. However, it is not the notary's role to read the document word for word and say if it is legal or not.
A notary may glance to make sure there are no blank lines needing to be addressed and may scan to find names in a document to ensure they match names the signer is stating, to protect from fraudulent activity.
Not all notaries can do the same things. Much like doctors or attorneys specializing in specific fields, notaries have the same ability. We started as a mobile notary in 2019. Learned there are so many avenues available in the notary world and today's notary, is not necessarily what your grandparents (or maybe even your parents) notary was!
Banks are getting away from notarizing free for customers, unless it is one of their internal documents. Some places will not allow their employed notary to do real estate document notarizations.
Not all notaries are trained and approved for vehicle transfers and some who are with PennDOT, may not be able to transfer a boat or maybe an ATV. (Each of those departments have their own requirements to be met. We can't tell you how many people we had to turn away while being strictly mobile - for that very reason). Not all notaries are trained/certified trust delivery agents or signing agents for real estate transactions (and some lenders or title companies have certain requirements for this).
That's just a little helpful information to explain why a notary is "not just a notary". If that doesn't make sense, all we can say is if the notary doesn't do their job correctly? Then you'll understand! :)
I earned my associates degree in accounting after raising my family. I have worked in the banking industry a few years and in a tax office 6 years, before switching to a remote tax office position for the past 3 years.
Since this employer permits it, I offer tax preparation services at the office as well. Look forward to seeing returning clients and meeting new ones!
The office hours and mobile availability will change for Jan-April. Strongly recommend that if you do want me file your taxes in 2025 - do not wait until mid-way through March or April! My schedule may be full.
Working a full-time position for tax season again with the remote employer while my office grows. I will also have hours available for title transfer & registration and general notary services.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours. We are located on the outskirts of Clymer in a small town called Diamondville.
